I'm a 21 year old Criminal Justice senior at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. I've got a deep passion, like most people, to break away from the ordinary and experience what God has created me for.

Two summers ago (2007) I spent about a month exploring and backpacking up in the Canadian Rockies, among other places, with my dog Buddy. With the purpose of drawing closer to the Lord and finding out what I am made of. It was an adventure of a life time.

This past summer (2008), I had the opportunity to go on another adventure. I headed to Togo, Africa, witnessing to the Kabiye people of the area with a group of 11 other college students and the missionary families that are hosted us. The trip was really life changing and formative. Especially with it being my first trip over seas! The whole trip lasted about 2 months, and by the end I was ready to get home, back to friends, family, and the good ol' USA.

After graduation in May, I plan on going to work for the Anchorage Police Department, which I am involved in the hiring process at this moment. A small group of friends plan on moving up there along with me, which will hopefully all work out.

My long term goal is to get involved in local politics, and eventually work my way up the ladder to senate or representative seat. Corruption and special interest groups have taken hold of our country, and it's time for us Christians to step up and stop taking everything thrown at us without a fight.

Obviously, God has blessed me beyond my wildest imagination. Hopefully, with all He has shown and given me, I will be able to use it to His glory by making this world a better place, or at least the small corner of it I call home.
